Spices export from India

India spices are valued for their high quality and flavour around the world. The climate in India , which has tropical and subtropical weather patterns, is ideal for growing almost all types of spices. Indian spices are in remarkable demand and command high credibility with the international market. The spice industry is a sustainable and economically viable option for raking in massive profits every year. In 2021-22, India exported 1.53 million tonnes of spices. From 2017-18 to 2021-22, the total exported quantity from India grew at a CAGR of 10.47%. For FY22, total volumes of chilli, cumin, turmeric and ginger exports were 0.55, 0.21, 0.15 and 0.14 million tonnes. Red chilli is the most exported spice from India . India has a reputation for exporting a range of spices, such as Red chilli cardamom pepper, turmeric, cinnamon as well as cloves, cumin corian, black paper, mustard.
